Travel Protection & Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)

Wilson Lake Inn guests can choose between Standard Travel Protection or Travel Protection with CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason). Both options are offered through RentalGuardian® and InsureStays®, and both help protect your prepaid, non‑refundable trip costs if something unexpected happens before or during your stay.

Standard Travel Protection

Standard Travel Protection reimburses up to 100% of your covered trip cost if you must cancel or interrupt your stay for one of 30+ covered reasons, including:

• Illness or injury
• Weather events (hurricanes, blizzards, storms)
• Flight cancellations
• Road closures
• Job loss
• Death in the family
• Death of a family pet
• Other unforeseen events listed in the policy

This plan is ideal for guests who want protection against the most common travel disruptions.

CFAR – Cancel For Any Reason

CFAR adds extra flexibility. It includes everything in the Standard Travel Protection, PLUS the ability to cancel your trip for any reason not otherwise covered and still receive partial reimbursement.

Examples of CFAR‑eligible reasons include:

• You simply decide not to travel
• You’re uncomfortable with weather forecasts
• You change your mind about the trip
• A friend or family member can no longer join
• Any reason not listed as a covered event

CFAR is available only to:
U.S. residents (excluding New York)
Canadian residents (excluding Quebec)
