Wilson Lake in Wilton, Maine

Wilson Lake is a picturesque 560+ acre great pond located adjacent to the historic downtown area of Wilton, Maine.  The lake's scenic beauty is cherished by both visitors and residents alike and offers unparalleled access to all. There is a town dock and boat launch at the foot of the lake and a sandy beach at Kineowatha Park.   At the foot of the lake there is shore front parking.  You can take in a spectacular view across lake with Mt. Blue and the surrounding mountains in the background.

Fish for salmon, lake trout, smallmouth bass, brook trout, chain pickerel and others. Wilson Lake 40 – 80-foot depth supports both warm and cold-water fish species.

Bring your camera and snap a photo of our resident bald eagle who has a nesting site on Goat's Island.  We have several pairs of loons nesting on the lake as well as wood ducks, mallards and blue heron.  Beaver, deer and moose are occasionally seen as well.
