Fish: Salmon, brook trout, lake trout, smallmouth bass, white perch, yellow perch, pickerel, hornput, smelt, eel, white sucker, and sunfish.

| | There is a lot of deep, cold water in Wilson Lake to support salmon, lake trout, and smelt. The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife lists lake trout, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and hornput as the principal fisheries. | The shoreline is wooded, with a number of fields, and there is cottage development around the shoreline also. Ice-out can be expected by the by the second week of May, which is the best time to fish Wilson Lake for trout and salmon.
