Wilson Lake Area: 480 acres. Maximun depth: 88 feet
Fishes: Salmon, brook trout, lake trout, smallmouth bass, white perch, yellow perch, pickerel, hornpout, smelt, eel, white sucker, sunfish.
The boat launch is located at the extreme southern tip of this beautiful lake. The southern tip of the Wilson Lake butts against the an old manufacturing mill formerly the Bass Shoe Company that now houses The Calzolaio Pasta Company restaurant and a variety of other businesses here is Wilton, Maine.
There is a lot of deep, cold water in Wilson Lake to support salmon, lake trout, an smelt. The Fish and Wildlife Departmetn lists lake trout, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and hornput as the principal fisheries. Some fo the perch, which fee heaviy on smelt, reach jumbo proportions.
The shoreline is wooded, with a number of fields, and there is extensie cottage development. Ice-out can be expected by the by the second week of May, which is the best time to fish Wilson Lake for trout and salmon. June is the best month for bass fishing.

2009 Hunting And Fishing Licenses Available Online
The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife has made 2009 hunting and fishing licenses available online through the Maine Online Sportsman Electronic System (MOSES), available at https://www.informe.org/moses/.
The system is easy to use and has recently been upgraded with new features. License buyers will need to have available their personal information, such as first and last name, address, date of birth, and other pertinent information. Also, they’ll need their previous hunting license number or safety course number (if you are purchasing a hunting authority) and a credit card number. Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit and debit cards are accepted.
Any resident or non-resident sportsperson looking to hunt or fish in Maine can use MOSES. This online service is not available for individuals that need to obtain a Complimentary, Lifetime, or Military license or those from countries other than the United States or Canada.
